You will learn more than 25 distinct teaching methods applicable to English or any other language you speak fluently, including signed languages. Each method is fully demonstrated, with opportunities to practice immediately. A course manual is provided in advance so you can take notes during the sessions.
Our instructors will coach you throughout, helping you build practical teaching skills. You will also learn from your classmates, which is a key part of our collaborative approach encouraged for all LEXICA graduates.
Rather than treating methods as standalone techniques, you will learn to integrate them into dynamic, systematic lesson plans that students will enjoy. Your certification can be used to teach online or in-person.
